Lifestyle Ambassador - Graduated
Tell us about yourself? My name is Nick, and about a year ago I made the exciting move to downtown Chicago. Here I have become quite the adventurer and have found a new passion - photography. With my photography I have been able to document and share my unique experiences in and outside of the city. I've always liked having that preppy nautical style and hope to eventually move down South where I can live that beach lifestyle every day, because Chicago gets way too cold during the winter season.
What part of USA Palm peaked your interest? That nautical, southern style, beach loving look. The colors are different, they stick out from a crowd, and definitely attract attention. PLUS, USA Palm donates a portion of proceeds to keep the oceans healthy... WIN-WIN.
How do you Enjoy the Palm Life? I do live about a 5 minute walk from the beach, but in Chicago. There's no Palms, but I pretend there are. During the summertime it really does feel like Florida (with a ton of huge skyscrapers around. ;)
What sports or activities do you participate in? I've always loved playing basketball growing up. I also enjoy riding my longboard down Lake Shore Drive with Lake Michigan and city views.
What is your favorite vacation spot? Why? Charleston, SC. My girlfriend and I took a road trip there a few months ago and we fell in love with it. The history, the beaches, the palm trees, the weather, the friendly people. Everything is perfect there.
Why do you think you are a good USA Palm Ambassador? I love photography. I have a wide range of followers from all over the world and it would be cool to share the Palm Lifestyle with everyone. My shooting consists of different, unique perspectives... those including GoPro selfies, which would look even better with some USA Palm gear :)
How will you make the Palm Life better? I believe the Palm Lifestyle can be represented anywhere you are. That preppy look is what I usually go for, and repping USA Palm in my photos could help spread the word.
What else should we know about you? I don't know why... but ever since I was a kid I randomly break out singing "Somewhere over the rainbow" from Wizard of Oz.. and that's the only part of the song I know. Don't worry, I usually only do it at home.
